I’m SO excited to have you in the Dry Land Herding Games Challenge, and I can’t wait to support you in your Herding goals!

 

It’s absolutely my honor to be your support and guide you through this process!

I am super excited to share that Madison Shepstone will be joining us for the 30 days as an additional Coach to help answer questions and offer feedback on your posts and video sessions.  She has a wealth of experience with the Games and has coached the course live to many students.

Seriously so excited for you! Please read this page thoroughly and complete the steps below:

For those of you who already had the Dry Land Herding Games course:

1️⃣ You can login to your program anytime here with your username and password through The Talking Dog website at the SIGN IN on the homepage at thetalkingdog.ca

For those of you who just purchased the Course with the 30 Day Challenge…

1️⃣ You will be receiving an email with your login and password information

2️⃣  You will be able to access all the course material and the course is yours for Life!

Weekly Coaching Lives

  • Your primary weekly coaching call is at 7 p.m.  ET and every Monday the week you begin for same time for 4 magical weeks! The live will be through Facebook or there is a possibility we can use Zoom for some if they do not have a Facebook account.  You will receive notices and a link once the program starts.

  • Each week we will discuss the lessons we will be providing feedback for during that week, and it will be up to you to get a head start and watch the lesson.

  • You will get a link in the email you receive Sunday of the week you begin to remind you of the upcoming Live AND to encourage you to BLOCK YOUR TRAINING TIME with your dog.

  • Don’t worry if you should miss the Live it will be recorded and posted to the Private Facebook Group.

  • Dates for the Lives will be February 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th.

Your Private Facebook Group

  • You will be invited to join the private Facebook group just for our 30-Day Challenge.

  • In the group you are allowed to post up to 3 videos that you might want to share and gather feedback from me and from the group.  Remember the Facebook group is private and shared only by other people just like you who want to get the most out of a network of like minded people.  We all signed up to get feedback and support.

  • It’s like a small clinic and we know that we can benefit from seeing what others are doing.  Often reveals you have similar issues and wins in your training session.

  • Nothing will be shared outside the group so I want you to feel comfortable sharing and you will most definitely get the most from the coaching over the 30 days.

Block your TRAINING SESSIONS ahead of time!

  • Get Excited and start to think about a good time you will be able to block your Training Sessions.

  • My advice is to select 2 times per week where you can practice with your dog uninterrupted.  About 45 minutes per session will allow you a little set up time and enough repetitions for you to monitor your dog’s success.

Rain Dates for training: 

  • It’s a good idea to plot your week with your 2 set times and 2 more rain dates.  We all know how schedules get interrupted by real life. Planning ahead will ensure you have a productive week.

  • While the 30 day challenge may not perfect your skills, the more you do, the better you will get.

  • The 30 Day Challenge is designed to give you feedback over 4 weeks of personal coaching so you can stay on track. It’s also specifically designed to trouble shoot where you may have questions about how to get the most out of each of the games. So ask lots of questions and post videos of your session so I can help out.
